Grappling Summer Week Malta is an international event dedicated to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling. Athletes from across Europe come together for a week of training, seminars, competitions, and networking in a unique Mediterranean setting.

The program includes Gi and No-Gi training sessions, tournaments, and open mats, giving participants the opportunity to improve their skills, compete, and connect with the global grappling community.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced competitor, Grappling Week offers the perfect environment to train, compete, and experience the spirit of grappling on the island of Malta.

Grappling Summer Week Malta event

Game Changer Camp (13–17.07.2026)

Game Changer Camp is a five-day intensive grappling camp for athletes who want to improve their skills, train with international partners, and learn modern Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques.

The camp will be led by elite coaches from the international grappling and MMA scene.

Third degree BJJ black belt. Two times ADCC Masters Pro World Champion, ADCC European Champion and multiple-time ADCC Pro Champion in 9 Countries ADCC UK Open Champion 6 times. Known for his elite-level grappling and highly effective submission system with over 95% submission rate!!!

Mateusz Rębecki - Co-Coach


Second degree BJJ black belt. Current UFC lightweight fighter with Record 20-4. Known for his explosive style and finishing ability. A former FEN Champion with multiple Fight of the Night bonuses in the UFC, bringing world-class MMA experience straight to the mat.

Paweł Bańczyk - Co-Coach
 

Second degree BJJ black belt. World Champion and European Champion in Ju-Jitsu Ne-Waza, multiple-time medalist and one of Poland’s most accomplished grapplers.

Ground Game Cup Malta – Gi & No-Gi  (12.07.2026)

The Ground Game Cup Malta is an international grappling tournament open to athletes competing in both Gi and No-Gi divisions. Fighters of all levels are welcome to compete, gain valuable experience, and test their skills against competitors from different countries.

 

The event focuses on dynamic matches, technical grappling, and submission-oriented fighting, creating an exciting competition atmosphere for both athletes and spectators.

Taking place during Grappling Summer Week Malta, the tournament gathers the international grappling community for a full week of competition, training, and networking on the island of Malta.

ADCC Open Championship 2026 Malta

ADCC Malta Open Championship No-Gi (11.07.2026)

The week begins with the ADCC Malta Championship, a No-Gi grappling tournament inspired by the famous ADCC ruleset, considered one of the most prestigious formats in submission grappling.

The event brings together competitors from across Europe who want to test their skills in high-level matches focused on technique, control, and submissions. Athletes from different academies and countries will compete in a dynamic and professional tournament atmosphere.

As part of Grappling Summer Week Malta, the ADCC Malta Championship opens an international week of grappling events including tournaments, seminars, and training camps on the island of Malta.

WHAT YOU GET DURING THE WEEK?

5 Days of Professional Training

Train with experienced grappling instructors during technical classes focused on improving your techniques, strategy, and overall performance. Each session is designed to help athletes of all levels develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive training environment.

Two Training Sessions per Day

Participants will train twice a day – morning and evening sessions – combining technical instruction, drilling, and live sparring. This structure allows you to maximize your progress while still having time to relax and enjoy Malta.

Competition & International Community

During the week you can also participate in the Ground Game Cup and the ADCC Malta Open Championship. Train, compete, and connect with grapplers from across Europe in a unique international atmosphere.
